Conservatives have often framed debates around immigration with the assumption that legal immigration is a positive good. However, is this true? With Texans losing their jobs and communities at an alarming rate, could legal immigration be the cause?
Chris Russo of Texans for Strong Borders will talk about the impact of legal immigration, the key laws that have gotten us to where we are, and where we need to focus going forward. He will touch on both federal and state policy, including the Immigration Acts of 1965 and 1990, the H-1B and OPT programs, the ways companies scam the PERM process, and more.
